Adjectifs démonstratifs :

Demonstrative adjectives (this/that) are used to point out a specific noun or pronoun. These also have different forms for the masculine, feminine, singular, and plural:

masculin | féminin | pluriel

ce jardin | cette maison | ces fenêtres

REMEMBER! An adjective is a word describing or limiting word. Adjectives “agree” with the noun they are describing. That is, they must be masculine or feminine, singular, or plural. All possible forms of demonstratives adjectives are below:

	masculine	feminine
singular	ce, cet	cette
plural	ces	ces

Cet before masculine nouns beginning with a vowel or “h”—cet enfant, cet hôtel

Le > ce, cet > le garage, ce garage; l'escalier, cet escalier
La > cette > l'allée, cette allée
Les > les livres, ces livres; les allées, ces allées
